I think I'd like to see this. Has anyone visited? The website addresses reservations but doesn't mention walkups.

If you are mentioning what I think, it isn't really a "museum" as much as it is a tourist attraction. They have several of Leonardo's machines constructed, and you can climb in them/on them etc. (more suitable for kids). We did this a while ago and I actually felt a little ripped off frankly - but you can probably see enough from the outside to get a feel whether it is for you or not. You should have no problem walking up most times of the year. Is it the one on Via Cavour?
