Leonardo Davinci Airport Customs and Immigration

Hello,
I am meeting a friend at the Davinci airport and she is flying in on Delta and I am flying in on Alitalia.

Do all incoming international flights go through the same customs and immigration station? Or are there multiple immigration locations at the airport?

Thanks!
Ed from Los Angeles

Our experience is only one immigration check point and customs.

Over the last 10 years or so, I have always arrived through the same terminal, so would expect you all to both pass through the same terminal. However, in the last year or so, FCO folks have moved the "Meeting Point" pole. As of June 2016, here's where it is: After you go through international immigration, you will pick up your luggage off the belt (if you checked it) and pass through customs (just walk past some guys on the way to "EXIT"). You will then go through some double glass doors into the large, busy terminal area. As you go through that doorway, keep to the LEFT and about 30 feet ahead of you will be a (square, I think) large column with the words "Meeting Point" posted on it. This is an obvious and clear spot to meet. Whichever one of you arrives first may have time to go to a BANK ATM (make sure that it is bank-connected) to stock up on euros, maybe buy some water, juice, coffee, sandwiches, etc., at the little stand-up bar/cafe partway down on the right, and also - if you are then going to be taking the train somewhere - to go find the Trenitalia ticket machine (in the terminal hallway off to your right as you exit customs, about 200 feet) and to buy a couple of tickets into the city (on the Leonardo Express) or wherever you plan to go. Note also that there are "Arrivals" monitors up on another large post in the same area as the "Meeting Point" post so that the first to arrive can watch for the other person's arrival information.
