Ken Burns' doc of Leonardo da Vinci is on PBS this evening and i think tomorrow as well.
In my opinion, everything that Ken Burns does is quality and a learning experience.

I'm definitely looking forward to watching.
Excited to watch this! Thanks for the reminder
Same time as Monday night football. Texans vs Cowboys. Hmm.
Pro football doesn’t raise blip on my radar. But a hotel, restaurant, or way of packing I’m all over it.
Trying to watch it.
From what I can get, it is very interesting.
My big pet peeve is, if there are sub-titles to translate,
PUT THEM IN A TEXT BOX WITH ONE COLOR BACKGROUND AND A CONTRASTING COLOR TEXT!
White text against a sepia colored da Vinci drawing is useless.
This just isn't a pet peeve of this program. Lots of PBS shows I would love to watch but the illegible sub-titles are NUTS.
And yes, I agree, everything Ken Burns does is a quality learning experience. Just wish the sub-title folks would get a clue.
Sorry for detracting from your post.
Hi Sam
I am not a big football fan although I keep up with sports news. I don't even know who won but it must have been a good game.
Hello Hansen
I agree with you about the captions. I was having the same problem reading the captions.
And I hate to report this but I fell asleep half way through but will probably get to see it again.
I will be watching again tonight.
Don't know how many people know about this, but it sounds very cool and I'm visiting it in Florence in April!
