We, with our 13 year old granddaughter, are staying in Florence, but are trying to decide which would be best...
the Florence da Vinci Museum or taking a day trip to da Vinci's hometown, his house and the displays there.
Thoughts?
We did both.
If you can't do that, then Florence.
Or you can find him in many places: Florence, Milan, Clos Luce (France).
Can either of you tell me if either museum has any original works/drawings in them? Or are they all copies?
Thank you
The museum in Vinci seemed more interactive and may be better for a 13 year old. But if it’s inconvenient to get there the museum in Florence is interesting.
The 500th anniversary of Da Vinci's death is being celebrated this year with a number of special exhibitions in Florence. If you're going this year, you might want to look to see if any of those would interest your granddaughter.
