Hello All,
My husband and I would love to visit a lemon grove while we are in Italy in early May. We will be staying in Vico Equense for one night and I figure that would be the closest place during our trip to lemon groves. Does anyone have a suggestion of a cheap grove we could visit and perhaps even pick a few lemons?

I found the main tourist garden in Sorrento to be quite enjoyable. It's a shady oasis in the middle of town that you can't miss as you're walking out of the 'Trolly' (Circumvesuviana) Station.
It doesn't get any cheaper than free. Of course, they don't let you walk off with armfuls of fruit. But the boutique is well stocked with stuff for sale and their liqueurs are very nice. If you're adventuresome, try the 'Earl Grey' (Bergamot) as well as the traditional Lemoncello.
