Not that I can do much about it at this point...leaving Friday but do I need to bring anything other than passport, international driving permit, my license and copies of everything..do I need my birth certificate or is that overkill? Thanks to all of you for all of your help over the past few months.
Hi Joe, no need to take your birth certificate. You'll be fine with the other items you mentioned. Have a great trip...I'm so jealous!
There is absolutely no need for a birth certificate or marriage license. No one cares if you are married or not or traveling with your daughter.
Unless your daughter is a minor, in which case you will need a notarised authority from you spouse!
Joe, I wouldn't bother with the Birth Certificate or Marriage License. Just your Passport, normal Driver's License and International Driver's Permit. Be sure to check the expiration date on your Passport and D.L.
Thanks all, it is truly appreciated to have such caring folks out there
If you aren't driving, your passport is all you need. If you drive add your drivers license and international drivers permit. A copy of your passport (kept seperate from your passport) will speed things up, at the US Consulate, if you have to have it replaced.
Sorry screwed up above (now edited). For driving include your drivers license and international drivers permit (accidentally said international passport?).
