Looking for the best way to get from Lecco on Lake Como up to Bellagio or Varenna to take advantage of the ferries on that part of the lake. A ferry from Lecco to Belaggio is 90 minutes. Thanks in advance!

Train from Lecco to Varenna is easy. However, when I made that trip in September 2023 and walked from the train station to the ferry dock, the crowds were so huge that I skipped the idea of even taking a boat. You don't say when you're going, but be prepared!

I was in Varenna last October and had no problem getting a ferry to Bellagio or back and it takes They run frequently and take about 15 minutes.
