We'll be in Lecce in early Sept for a few days. RS always says "take a vacation from your vacation" so we'd like to do so with a day at the beach. Has anyone done this by public transit from Lecce? It looks like San Cataldo isn't too far from Lecce but the Salento bus guide at https://www.hdsalento.com/en/salento-in-bus/ only hints at a bus to that beach with a dashed arrow (whatever that is supposed to mean).
Has anyone used public transit to get to a beach from Lecce? We're hoping for a beach where you can rent an umbrella and chairs.
