I noticed in the Rick Steves 2015 Rome book that you can leave your luggage at the National Museum near a Termini Station in Rome. However the 2016 Italy book by Rick Steves does not mention this. Does anyone know if it is still possible to do this?
Are you sure you didn't miss read that. Termini is the main railroad station in Rome (there are others) and the museum is across the plaza from the train station. Termini has a left luggage station on the lower level. I don't remember seeing left luggage in the museum but that was several years ago. Maybe it has changed.
I would assume that no luggage will accept large bags in their coat room especially given current security concerns. Termini has left luggage which is x-rayed.
I'm not seeing bag check under the museum's services. I'd use the service on the lower level at Termini.
Thanks for your reply a we will leave the luggage at Termini.
