Help--I can't find this answer. If I buy a train ticket from Siena to Naples that has to change trains (or a Rome Metro ticket where I have to change lines) when i get off at the "change" place (station or Metro) do I have to go validate (punch) my ticket before I get on the new train/metro? Same question with Rome buses with a Roma Pass? Grazie! This forum is wonderful--thank you everyone. Cat
From Siena to Naples, you will have to change trains at least once and possibly twice. You will have a ticket for each leg. You must validate each ticket before boarding the train. I don't know about the Roma pass but believe it or not, there may be a validation box on the bus. There was on the local bus we rode in both Florence and Assisi. Validate, validate, validate.
