Leaving for Italy next week. Any suggestions?

We are leaving next week for two weeks in Italy. We are landing in Milan, picking up a car and driving to a B&B at at winery (Rizzi) in the Piedmonte (sp?) area. We stay there for two nights, then on to Maranello to tour the Ferrari museum, see the test track, if we can. Any ideas for that area?

Then a week in Cortona. We go there pretty much every year and would appreciate suggestions about new discoveries to see in that area. Or if anyone has some great tips about wineries?

Then to the Cinque Terre for 3 nights. We are staying in Vernazza. Where to eat? Anything in that area we really shouldn't miss?

Then two nights in Milan. We have reservations for the Last Supper. I want to see the Duomo and the Galleria, but really haven't planned much beyond that. We are actually staying one night in Milan and our last night we are staying at a hotel near the airport.

Would love suggestions.

In Milan, be sure to check out the Sforza Castle and the grounds around it.

In Vernazza, we had dinner at both Trattoria Gianni Franzi and Il Capitano. While we enjoyed Gianni Franzi, we preferred Il Capitano. And, while both were a bit of a splurge, Il Capitano was actually a bit less expensive.

If you want a real splurge in Vernazza, Gambero Rosso seemed to be the most expensive and to have a more exotic menu. But, we did not eat there, so I can't comment on it at all.

As for sights in Vernazza and the Cinque Terre, you can't beat the hiking trails. We also spent a lot of time swimming, but I suspect that it's too cold this time of year.
