I’ve heard that some of the vendors at some leather markets don’t sell real Italian leather goods. Can anyone recommend a trusted location at reasonably prices ? Need to head there on Sunday. Thanks !

The Old Florence leather company is on a side street down from the Duomo and had a nice selection of jackets. This was several years ago. Love mine.

If you can shop Saturday or Monday rather than Sunday, Massimo Leather has good quality Italian leather at reasonable prices. They're closed on Sunday. I bought a jacket there a few years ago and am very pleased with it.

I have found some good vendors in the market at San Lorenzo. Most have stores where they offer better quality goods. Here are a couple of vendors I have purchased from (both had booths in the open market and stores nearby):

I second @Frank's recommendation of Massimo. My daughter and I bought leather coats there in March 2017.
