I was wondering if anyone has done a tour to Pisa from Florence and if it is worth the time. If so, can you recommend a tour company besides Trip Advisor? Thanks.
HI- welcome to the forum!
Trip Advisor doesn't run any tours.
You don't really need a tour to Pisa - it is super easy to do yourself from Florence by train.
Do you have the RS Italy guide book- I know there are specific directions in there on how to visit Pisa.
We finally got to Pisa on our 3rd trip and I was pleasantly surprised at how impressive it was. The other buildings on the Field of Miracles are all gorgeous and worth the visit. We actually stayed overnight and the tower plus buildings lit up at night was really beautiful.
YES --- use WalkAboutFlorence - do the BEST OF TUSCANY TOUR - it takes you to 3 places with an amazing lunch at a vineyard.
Book direct on their website, but you can see reviews on TripAdvisor -- just be sure and book with WalkAboutFlorence, not a 3rd party like Viator. We did 2 tours with WalkAboutFlorence and both were wonderful.
AirBnb has offers from local tour guides that you may book. We utilized this service in Rome and it worked very well.
