Which are best towns/places to vacation in Le Marche region for active elderly seniors- biking swimming, cultural?

I haven't spent much time there yet (planning on a few weeks this summer), when are you going to be there? My plan includes Urbino, Ascoli Piceno, and several of the smaller cities.

I went to Urbino and the smaller surrounding towns in 2008 while staying at the Rick Steve's recommended agritourismo (Lacada Valle nueava, probably spelled wrong). My wife and I loved the agritourismo and felt like we had the entire region to ourselves. On a trip that included Lake Como, Milan, and Bologna, our time in le marche was the highlight.
