Rick’s latest edition of Italy travel guide doesn’t mention Le Marche. We’ll be in the area for a week-long workshop and are curious about this region. Anyone have any suggestions for a guidebook or other publication?
I used the following, but you can get what you need online as well:
Le Marche: an insider's guide by Greene, Peter (I believe there is a companion website)
The Marches: A Complete Guide to the Landscape and National Parks, and One Hundred Towns Including Urbino (Heritage
Guides) Heritage Guides Touring Club Italiano, Touring Club of Italy
Umbria & the Marche Landscapes Series Landscapes Sunflower Books, Brand: Sunflower Books
Blue Guide The Marche & San Marino: 2nd edition (2nd Edition) (Blue Guides) Blue Guides (This one is probably the only vital one)
I'd be interested in knowing where your workshop will be held. We were two weeks in a workshop in Urbino and loved that town (and have returned) but haven't had a chance to see a great deal more of the region.

Lonely Planet recommended and featured this region in 2020.

Together with Abruzzo my go to for beauty and genuineness. Really need a car to appreciate the areas fully. A little Italian written and verbal is very useful. LVMH and others have factories producing luxury shoes and accessories’, hence go to for the women in my family.
