Layover in Amsterdam to Venice

Hello, we are traveling to Venice in September and have a layover of 90 minutes in Amsterdam (flying KLM). Can anyone tell me what the airport is like and should we be concerned about Immigration or Customs and not having enough time to catch our connecting flight? Thank you!

It is a great modern airport with enough shopping to resemble a shopping mall inside

Schipol is one of my favorite airports, very good signage and easy to navigate.

Like everyone else says Schiphol is a great airport and it is easy to navigate. However it is large and busy with lots of shopping and other distractions. Just don't be distracted and don't stop UNTIL you are at you next departure gate. If you are coming in on a transatlantic flight you most likely will be going to another wing of the airport and it will be a bit of a hike. Get to where you need to be then you will probably have an hour before the plane departs the gate and a half hour before they start to load.
