We will be joining the RS Off Season Sicily and South Italy tours in April. Would love feedback from tour members for laundry / wash & fold options for both tours. First we will be on the Sicily tour with a 5 day break in Taormina and end with the South Italy tour.

I can't recall what laundry options were available on those tours, but that shouldn't be a problem on either one. I vaguely remember that I had laundry done in Cefalu (which I don't believe is on the tour any longer) and in Sorrento. Your best source of information on laundry facilities will be your guides. For the time you're in Taormina, the front desk staff at your hotel will be able to provide information.

Hi Tess, I just returned yesterday from the Sicily Tour which ended on the 17th. We just hand washed a few items every so often, using the RS Travel Store clothes line and the travel towel (to squeeze out as much water as possible) as we usually do. I also take a couple of ziploc bags just in case something isn't completely dry on a "moving" day. Only one time did I need to do that with one pair of socks that don't dry as quickly--most of my clothes are of fabrics that dry in a few hours or at least overnight. Although we did have free time when going to a laundromat would have been possible, I never asked or looked for one.
The Sicily tour is absolutely fantastic, of course! In fact I'm planning to go again next year so I can take my husband!
