Laundry in La Spezia?

Lou, I haven't used a coin laundry in La Spezia but a quick search for a laundry close to Centrale shows Mezzora lavanderia at Via Fiume, 95. When all else fails, asking the desk at our hotels for the closest coin laundries has worked well for us when traveling abroad.

Funny, my mom and I did our laundry at that lavanderia that Kathy has provided for you.
This was back in 2008 when we were staying in Monterosso but the laundry facility there was closed.
This is the one time I felt annoyed because we wasted so much time getting to La Spezia, and all the washing machines (only 2-3 available) were occupied so we had to wait. There wasn't much to do near the laundromat. I just remember lots of traffic on that street.

You may be able to find one closer to your hotel or apartment by checking Goggle Maps and then type, "Lavanderia"

Thanks a bunch for chiming in, Priscilla, and especially for confirming what I suspected about the size of the place. I saw an online pix of it and, yep, it looked pretty tiny.

There looks to be a BluWash a few blocks away (Via Milano, 26) but I can't confirm for sure if it's still there.

Thanks to you both- I do have a question out to our hotel there as well. Our stop before CT is a farm house in San Quirico- I wonder if they would let us do a small load for a charge. I'll check that too. We are definitely packing light and not checking, so it would be nice to do one wash over there. Thanks for all the advice I've received on this forum. :)
