Hello! My husband and I will have a few evening hours in Siena next month and would like to have a later dinner and visit Il Campo at night. The problem is, we are staying about 9 miles away from the City and are not renting a car. We would like to take a late night taxi back to our hotel, but I am unable to tell from the website how late the taxis there run. Has anyone successfully taken a taxi in Siena after 9pm? We are fine paying extra charge for night trip of course. Thanks for any info!

The operate 24h a day. You need to go to a taxi stand or better yet, call them (or use their app). No hailing taxis in Italy, it's not a local practice.
