Late dinner in Milan?

Does anybody know where to get a meal after the opera? We'll be there on a Wed. night in late April, Grazia in anticipo, Mike

Everywhere. You'll be amazed at how late Italians eat, especially in the larger cities. Some restaurants don't open for dinner until 9 pm and don't start to fill up until after 10. But I suggest getting a snack before the opera, so your stomach doesn't start growling. :-) And remember - there are no English supertitles in opera in Italy. Study up on the opera ahead of time and consider buying the English libretto translation if you want to follow along. They will probably be selling it in the lobby. Looks like you'll be seeing Turandot at La Scala. Should be wonderful. Have a great time.

Mike - I just had to LOL at your question. The restaurants will be busy AFTER the opera and almost deserted (except for Americans and some Brits) beforehand. No offense intended about the LOL - just shows how different the cultures are.
