I was able to secure a ticket to see the Last Supper on my last day before flying back out of Milan...
Problem is it's at the 3:30 showing, so I'd have to cut my trip in Lake Como short. Any recommendations on other ways to secure tickets (or last-minute options), or do I skip and see on another visit?
Hi Kelley. How many days will you have in Lake Como if you do cut your trip short to head to Milan? I'd allot 2 full days for the mid-lake section of Lake Como (Varenna, Bellagio, etc.). Since you're flying out of Milan, it might make sense to stay in Milan the night before your flight...although we stayed in Varenna & left early in the morning to make our way to Malpensa for our flight home.
How important is art to you? I'm an art freak who loves Lake Como, and I'd definitely cut Como trip short. On the other hand, if you really think you'll be back within a couple of years, you could wait.
