Last Supper Tickets

Just wondering, am I SOL for trying to get tickets for October 7-9? I've checked the official site and they are grayed out. Later in the month, there is some availability but we won't be there. Thank you!

Probably, but it never hurts to look on a daily basis. Something may open up or people may cancel. I know that when I got my tickets it was months in advance and that was before Covid.

They are often sold out. We did a tour in Milan that also included The Last Supper. Maybe see if any tours are still available that includes The Last Supper.

Seeing the Last Supper was important to me. We booked a city tour of Milan which culminated in seeing the Last Supper. It was well worth the cost.

I will be checking for cancellations. I had no idea I would need to book so far in advance. We'd love to see it but not sure we want to pony up $500 for a tour.

In May 2019 we tried for months to get tickets....no luck. We arrived in Milan on an early train and headed straight to the museum. We asked if there were any tickets available for that day and she said, " what time? We almost fell over and the tickets were cheap too. Give it a try.

Thank you, everyone, for your replies. I'll keep checking on line and we'll definitely try walking up. It's a bummer that we're there on a weekend.

I see at this moment tours on Viator that weekend as inexpensive as $59.77 for the Last Supper and Sforza Castle tour. You may wish to check their website. This is what we did a few years ago. Expect they and other tour groups are the ones holding the reservations

You can check the Viator website but get the actual name of the tour company from there and try to book direct. Viator is a 3rd party tour consolidator owned by Trip Advisor. They charge the company 20-25% for each booking.

Actually, I checked some of those companies. The one with $75 tickets had an 8am tour. Others will say they have tours about that price, but when you go to checkout, the price magically increases. Sometimes up to $200/person. But, I'll keep checking!

BOOM and done! Hate to pay the price, but the timeframe is great. We enjoy city tours so it is a positive.
Thank you, ChristineH, for the research and suggestion! So glad that we'll get to see it The Last Supper!

Oh! Lol
That was fast, happy to help
I knew WOI offered tours so just looked quickly and since you had told us your dates it was a great solution for you

We’ve done WOI tours elsewhere and they’ve been fantastic so I think you won’t be disappointed

We have a trip planned just before you, flying out of Milan 10/6
I checked for Last supper tix about 2 months ago and as soon as they were available I booked those before deciding how long to stay in Milan. We’ll see LS on 10/5

I need to get 2 tickets to see TLS in March, 2023.
What is the official site to get the tickets?
How long do they allow individuals in to view?
Do they allow tours more time to view?
Thanks, I have been away from Italy for over 40 years. Looking forward to returning.
Has anyone traveled in the Marche region?
Thanks

I see that another poster has recommended “Walks of Italy” tour site. I booked the best of Milan tour for us and it includes “the last supper” on Walks of Italy.
Happy travels!
EDIT- see that ChristineH already got you hooked up! Have fun!

Ok folks, problem completely solved. Christine H, I checked the official site for tickets on the last link you gave me. Lo and behold, tickets were miraculously available for 9 a.m. on the perfect date! I was able to cancel our $165 tour. While we like city tours, this was stretching our budget and I was glad to get a refund. I feel soooo lucky! It was all due to you helpful people! Thank you!

You can try calling them too. I've had luck with that in the past. And, if you're in Milan anyway, it won't hurt to just stop by and see if anything is available. The last option would be to join a tour group. It is certainly worth seeing.Good luck.

The last time I was in Milan , the website said it was fully booked but I stopped in early during the day and asked if they had any openings. The teller said yes and gave me a time to come back later that night
