The Last Supper is currently sold out for our Milan dates. Has anyone ever had the luck of getting tickets when they are "sold out"? They told me to call one week prior - we're also prepared to show up that day and just wait... Any suggestions?
We did not have luck getting in on a sold out day.
If you have the time - it is worth seeing - I'd try the wait to see if anyone is a no show.
Yes - I phoned the Cenacolo directly.
DD - that is not encouraging, that you were unable to get in on a wait!
I have seen it, and so know how amazing it is. My husband has not though - this is our first trip to Italy together.
Reminder to all about this topic...the interest in seeing ''the last supper'' has exploded since the dan brown book. That, and the fact that visitor volume is strictly limited, unlike, say, Vatican museum, makes advance reservation mandatory.
It was September. It's a chance thing your there why not try?

Hi Charity;
I had this experience 2 years ago with Last Supper in Milano and The Accademia in Firenze. I called back a.m. and p.m. their time every day, and got in on a cancellation for both places after a few days.
Keep calling, and I'm sure you will get in.
Michelle - good advice - I actually had been doing just that, calling them nightly, and last night I was successful in getting tickets. Thanks!
