Last Supper Tickets

I am on a quick train layover in Milan on June 13. I used the website in the RS book and I was hoping to get tickets to the Last Supper but did not make it before all of the ticket brokers. I looked into all of the 1/2 day tours that include the Last Supper ticket, but they either start before my train gets there or end after my connection leaves. Does anyone know of a ticket broker that just sells the tickets to see the painting? I have very limited availability. My train arrives at 10:30am and leaves at 3pm, so I could probably only get tickets between 12-2pm. Surely someone just sells the tickets without the tour? Is there a Craigs List in Milan or something like that I should be looking into?

I would suggest that you first try calling the number on the official site. Yes, you will have to call Italy and bear in mind the time difference, but often there are more slots available on the phone than on line. This is a common situation with Italian museums etc. Call now to book or buy: +39 02 92800360 There is also the site below. I have no idea about the reliability of this outfit, but maybe you can do some research. They seem to be able to access tickets at the last minute - only 3 days in advance, so you would be leaving it late to find tickets. http://www.lastsuppertickets.com/last_minute_tickets.aspx?id=70 And finally, if all else fails, my Italian teacher told me that there are often tickets for sale outside of the church when tour groups have purchased too many tickets and haven't sold all of the spots for their tours. I have no idea if this will work (I didn't see any of these people when I visited last August - but he claims he got his ticket this way) Maybe others can offer other suggestions.

Once when I was booking over a dozen reservations and didn't want to spend all that time on individual websites, I went to the SelectItaly webpage and booked all of them in less than ten minutes. They charge a markup but it was worth it, and I had the email reservations within 24 hours (most of them arrived within a few minutes). If you call the museum you need to dial 011 before the country code of 39.

Telephone them. Remember that they are 7 hours ahead of Texas time.
