Last Supper tickets

Hi all, I'm back again. I thought I planned this trip in plenty of time to get tickets to sed the Last Supper, but apparently not. Daily searches have come close but so far no winners. Does anyone have any idea on getting what now will be last minute tickets? We're still about 2 weeks out before getting to Milan. Are hotel concierge desks of much help?

Thanks

Check the RS Italy guidebook. They list several tour companies that have tours which visit the Last Supper. I used one of them but can’t remember the name off hand. You might be able to find tickets with one of them.

I was also unable to secure tickets through the site. I think the guide companies scoop them up. We booked through Get Your Guide but not until another company (Walks) changed our date and time. It was expensive for a very brief experience. But, seeing the last Supper was a bucket list item for us, so worth it.

I used Walks of Italy to access my tickets to The Last Supper. The guide was excellent and the walk was very interesting. We stopped at the building with the painting, everything went smoothly. The walk I did took us to the top of the Duomo with spectacular views. I would try Walks of Italy.

Yes, agree with all posters. Purchase a tour. I used Viator and was very satisfied. They included the Santa Maria delle Grazie church next door, which I wouldn't have thought of if I'd tried to do this on my own. The whole experience was lovely and we learned a lot!

Yeah, I tried the official site and also searched Viator and Get Your Guide. I think all those sites are showing tours from the same consolidators. I've been searching 5 or 6 times a day for weeks. Looks like it may not happen this trip.

I have another question but will follow the rules and start another topic for that.

Thanks to all who replied. After searching Viator day after day, I finally lucked out and and got a tour to the Last Supper. I hope it lives up to expectations.

Glad you were able to score tickets
I don’t know about the tour you’ve booked but we were very glad we were able to visit LS a few years ago
It was fascinating.

Temper your expectations. For us, it was a thrill to see. But, it’s not a fresco which can last for centuries. Leonardo painted it on dry plaster and it has aged poorly. There have been restorations, but, it’s still pretty worn.

I have posted this before so this is for others who have not seen this. My husband and I tried months and weeks before our trip to Italy to get tickets to the museum, not happening. We planned to be in Milan so that morning when we arrived, we took a chance and went to the museum ticket office and asked if there were any tickets available for that day, her reply was, “ what time.” We almost fell over. Apparently they hold tickets back for walkups. If you are going to be in Milan, anyway give it a try.

I was able to secure Last Supper tickets for July through the official website. I would definitely try to get tickets with the hotel conciege, they always have a way to get tickets. I don't like to go through the tour companies (GetYourGuide) because the companies also rely on getting tickets and may cancel due to lack of tickets.
