Last supper tickets

I purchased tickets for the Last Supper and now realize there is a ticket that provides a tour. Is it possible to convert the regular admission to a tour admission? I think I goofed, any ideas?

We were there a couple of years ago and at that time I don’t recall being able to just walk in on our own and see the fresco. All of the tickets included a brief introduction by a guide who then escorted everyone in to see it. If somehow your ticket doesn’t include that just hang around and listen in. Good luck!

I have been there twice, both without a tour. I bet the tour gives historical context and maybe details about the paintings. If you cannot make a change, in other words, you could likely read information before hand (in Rick's book for one), and get information right before the visit. The painting itself is in one room. You are escorted in as a group at the time of your appointment, and you have 15 minutes to look at the paintings (there is Las Supper and another on the opposite side of the room). So if you've done some pre-reading and have some information in hand as you study the painting, you could be fine without a guide.
