I just posted the same thing, then deleted as you did yours first! I’m so excited to finally have them, with one of their guides.

Ugh, poor planning on my part. We are in Milan one night before our flight, and that happens to be free Sunday. I was able to book an English language tour on the day we are passing through on our way to Varenna instead. Our train gets into Milano Centrale at 1:15 and the tour is at 3:00. Hopefully that is enough time to stash bags and taxi or tube over there.

Ok, I think I did something wrong when purchasing, but I have 24 hours to change before that date to change. When ordering it asked for the name of the person purchasing the tickets, but was for each ticket. Since I’m purchased all 4, I put my name. As I read the instructions, it says the tickets are name based and must display the names on behalf of the people we booked. I can modify the names.

Did you put the names of everyone in your party?

I believe that when you go to pick up your tickets they will be checking to make sure the names on the tickets match the names of the individuals, so yes, I think you will need to change that to match the people in your party. Here is the text from the confirmation email that I think states this:

"WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO COLLECT MY TICKET?
Since the tickets are name-based, you and the people on behalf of which you have booked will be required to show up in person at the ticket office approximately 30 minutes before the entering time. Visitors showing up with a different name lose the right to enter the museum."

Lulu348; Yes. We booked tickets last night when they went on sale. The site was a little cumbersome but you needed to enter all the information for the person buying the tickets first. After entering the passport number, address, etc then the actual tickets showed up with a red line through them indicating information was missing. Clicking on each ticket then brought up a small window asking for the name of the person. We did that for both and the purchase went through and we received the ticket. Hope that helps. Seems like plenty of tickets still available.

@dougandjulie, that’s exactly what I had to do. I thought at first I was being asked for each individuals name and had to read it again. It asked for the purchasers name, not the attendees. I thought that was odd. Anyway, I contacted them because the website to modify doesn’t have the May purchase to modify uploaded yet (you have to choose your date and time). They said I need to just keep checking.

So, here I am still checking on this one tour tickets! Ugh!
