Last Supper Phone problems?

I have gotten the phone number for the Last Supper reservations line from their website - 011+39 02 89421146 -However, when I call it, I get some sort of recording in Italian. I kept holding thinking it was telling me that I was one hold and to please wait. However, after the same recording played 3 times, it hung up on me. Today is Saturday (9:30 am)- does anyone know if this reservation line is open on Saturday? I called it 4 or 5 times during the week and got a busy signal every time. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong? Thank you so much.

Do you mean 930 am in Italy or where you are calling from? When I called it, the recording appears to be of the hours in which you can make your reservation (prenotare). I think (it is hard to hear her) she is saying Lunedi to Venerdi 0900-1600 and Sabato 0900-1400 which would be:

Monday-Friday 9am to 4pm
Saturday 9am to 2pm

in the GMT +1 time zone, of course.

Martha I don't know if you'd have any interest but I too got frustrated with trying to arrange for reservations over the phone. After perusing this website I noticed a recommendation for http://www.viator.com/. This past December I booked with them which assured me entrance to the Last Supper. We also visited La Scala, The Duomo, The Galleria and Sforza. I was only in Milan for a day and a half so this was a perfect investment of my time and money. Great guide and bus driver.
Just another option to consider.

Thanks guys! I figured out that I was calling after 2PM Italy time. I'll try again on Monday. Thanks also to Claudia for your suggestion for www.viator.com I will definitely look into that. Thank you all so much.
