We'll be in Milan on a first Sunday of the month. This is from the Cenacolo Vinciano website:
"In addition, on Free Sundays or other free admission days, groups will not be accepted, nor will it be possible to use services such as guided tours and workshops. It is also prohibited to conduct professional guided tours."
So, as i understand it, their own guided tours and outside guided tours are not allowed that day. If I'm misunderstanding this, please let me know. Thanks
You still have to make a reservation and at least when I did it a couple years ago, you have to do it by phone not online.

The only thing you get free on free museum days is free complete frustration. Free days are when the locals come.
Yes, I agree, it will be very crowded and I was looking forward to the guided tour. I think that we will not go this time.

We were there, but decided that there were plenty of other things to do, so did not choose to do the LS. No regrets.
