Looking for advice after spending a week on Air BNB, Booking.com, VRBO and others looking for a nice accomodation for family with children to spend 5 nights in Tuscany later this month...I know most everyone plans a year ahead but this trip fell into our laps. Hoping to be within a 30-60 minute drive to Florence, and 60-90 minute drive to Lucca/Pisa. Air conditioning and pool would be helpful to keep everyone happy. Lots of options on above sites but a bit stressed trying to decide. Any other good resources our there to find a cool spot? Love to be near a village like Greve or Tavenelle but would love opinions of those with experience in areas. Thank you!

Go on Booking.com and look for San Gimignano and Certaldo. There are dozens and dozens of agriturismos in the 5 miles between those towns. They fit your desired location. Lucca may be a little farther than 1 hr. however.

We are at a lovely Airbnb now near Grassina, but no pool (and wish we did). We did a cooking class near Tavarnelle at the agriturismo, Al Gelso Bianco and it was really great! Very much catered to families with a lovely pool. No idea if they have vacancies but check it out!

Thanks both! Have been scouring the websites, just hard this last minute (two weeks from now) to find the right combination of location (near a town for market, eating), pool, air conditioning, somewhere between siena and florence. Will keep looking!

BORGO RAPALE between Arrezzo & Siena . He has his own website BorgoRapale.it. We are booked here in sept and are going on recommendation of friend that stayed previously. Various sized apts and a pool. Give it a look !! Good Luck !
