Last Minute Roma Pass Question

Hello! I'm heading to Rome tomorrow and am still on the fence about whether to get a Roma Pass. We're only going to be there 2 days basically, and plan on seeing the following sites: Colosseum/Forum (which I understand are a combined ticket) Pantheon
St Peter's Basilica We're also going to hit up Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and a few other places, but those are not relevent to the Roma Pass. Based on the fact we're only going to be there 2 full days, and based on the sites we're going to, I'm leaning against getting the Roma Pass, because I don't believe the Pantheon is included in the Roma Pass? But the convenience of not waiting in line at the Colosseum/Forum is appealing, as well as the free public transit (although I doubt we'll take the subway and/or a bus more than once or twice) Thoughts? Thanks all! -Zach

From the sites listed the only one the romapass will work at is the colosseum combo. The pantheon and St. Peters are both free entry. The spanish steps and trevi fountain are both outside and don't require a ticket. I would just book entry tickets for the combo and not waste the money on the romapass. You can buy single trip tickets for the metro for a euro each. A one day pass costs 4 euros. http://www.ticketclic.it/Gb/HTML/musei/colosseo.cfm Donna

I agree. It take three or four site visits to break even with the pass. The area is small enough that the buses and especially the subway are of min value.

No to the Romapass for a 2-day trip. By the way, there are a few "minibuses" run by ATAC that get you to the major sites on the narrower roads, and there is one that goes out along the Via Appia Antica to the catacombs. Even for a little orientation ride in the afternoon when you're tired, these are good rides.
