Hi everyone, we will be arriving in MXP, along with 2 other couples (we will be 6 total people) and heading for a wedding in Piedmont.
The bus directly from MXP to Novara would be perfect, but the timing schedule doesn't look good for us catching the bus without a long wait in the airport, which I don't want. The train is much longer.
I looked into hiring a private taxi/shuttle, which would be about 75 euros (for all of us I think? So we could split it), because that would be even faster. But, do I need to book that ahead of time? Or is there somewhere in MXP where you can just find a taxi van/shuttle and hire it on the spot? Thanks!

I would book ahead. A Taxi would likely limit you to 4 people, meaning two vehicles. Planning ahead you can get the vehicle size needed and a driver waiting on arrival.

There is an hourly train service (trenord.it) with a change in Busto Arsizio Nord. Search the online timetable (starting station: Malpensa Aeroporto - arrival station: Novara Nord).
