We are flying to Sicily on the 22nd from the US, and I just learned the Palmero airport has added requirement of testing upon flight arrival (this is in addition to showing negative test before boarding flight to Italy and being fully vaccinated). So now I’m trying to look into an awful scenario where one of us tests positive somehow on arrival. Could we quarantine at our Palmero hotel already booked?? Or would we have to move to a specific hotel. How long?
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with this?? I’m finding very little online about this terrible scenario.
Trying not to panic on what-ifs and we have travel insurance and are all also boosted. We have a 15-day trip planned, so really looking forward to going.
