Land taxi or water taxi in Venice at 3:00am

Looking into a flight leaving Marco Polo at 6am. What transportation options are available from city center? We are trying to decide if we can book a hotel in the city or
If we need to book a hotel our last night next to the airport. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

I think it would be less stressful to stay close to the airport. Enjoy your last dinner in Venice, and just move to the airport hotel at bedtime. We have used the Marriott Courtyard in the past , it's about five minutes from the airport, but isn't walkable. The Marriott used to have a shuttle, but check for the hours of operation.
You can take the #5 bus from Piazzale Roma to the Marriott, about a 30 minute trip.
Safe travels!

I agree with Pat, stay the last night at the airport. Flying is such a hassle, any way to lesson the stress, particularly in the middle of the night.

Ate you already staying in Venice prior to your departure? Is your flight international or domestic?

We stayed at the Annia Park Hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable; the shuttle is convenient. It made our early morning flight very easy.

It’s been a few years, but we found the Best Western Titian to be a very comfortable airport hotel, with a shuttle. Furthermore there was a surprisingly good restaurant within easy walking distance where we had one of our best meals in Venice. Nothing really fancy but good seafood, pizza, etc. I just looked this up and I think it’s the one called Al Quadrante.

hey hey sophie
depending on how high or low your stress level is. when is this this flight and flying within europe (domestic) or USA/Canada (international)? been in this predictament and stayed at airport hotel.
booking.com (VCE)
left side has filters, click hotels and shuttles. research the times that shuttles are available and the fee that is charged, will there be a taxi at hotel to jump in at that hour?
what time does airport open, how many flights are leaving same time, many other travelers will be flying which means how long are lines to check-in and if passport/immigration is needed how long is that "who knows"
where is your hotel in venice? you could reserve private water taxi (motoscafivenezia.it) it will cost $$$ plus am extra fee for that hour, taxis available at train station. how deep are your pockets since it will cost whichever way you chose. good luck
