Looking for some advice on how to get to Lanciano, from either Rome, or San Giovanni Rotondo. We prefer to use public transportation or taxis. Thank you!

Margaret, The Trenitalia website shows the following information for travel to Lanciano (using an arbitrary date): > Roma Termini to Roma Tiburtina via Metro > Roma Tiburtina to Pescara Porta Nuova
> Pescara Porta Nuova to LANCIANO Total time: 5H:44M, 2 changes, Regionale (no reservations) That's the travel method I'd use. Happy travels!

Thank you. We have firmed up our plans and we will definitely be going from San Giovanni Rotondo to Lanciano (on Oct. 3) and then from Lanciano to Cortona (on Oct. 5). Any specific travel advice on how best to get where we need to go will be appreciated. Again, we prefer public trans. or taxis. Thanks!
