Lamborghini or Ferrari test drives

I have not been to Lamborghini but you should understand that the lunchtime Ferrari factory tour is a bus tour through the campus and onto the test track. You never get out of the bus, don't see inside a factory, and can't take photos. That's not to say that we didn't enjoy it, but the name is misleading.

I don’t think the museum visit includes a test drive.

I have never been aware of factory tours at Ferrari or Lamborghini unless you owned one or were taking delivery of your car at the factory. In September of 2010 I went to both of the museums which were worth a visit to me. I did drive a Ferrari California through this company: www.Pushstart.it They are located across the street from the Ferrari Museum. I paid around 100 euro for a 15(?) minute drive on the local streets. They do have other vehicles and drive time options offered. While in Maranello it is a easy to see the Factory entrances of course. If you can not take pictures while on the bus tour, there are placec that you can look through the fence to Fiorano and get pictures of cars being tested. While we were there it appeared that a Ferrari event was taking place with people driving 458's around the circuit. If you are a Formula 1 fan then you may like to have lunch or dinner at Ristorante Cavallino which is where drivers and other's have eaten. There are pictures and trophy's within the restaurant, It is located across from a Ferrari factory entrance.

I did not see a similar company to PushStart at the Lambo factory. Not to say there isn't one, I just never saw one.

Following. I do have the same question, lamborghini only, and is it possible for a 19 year old to drive? I know the lamborghini factory tour is not open in August. I have also read the factory tour at lamborghini is amazing to car buffs. We are looking at shifting our trip and taking a day from somewhere else just to do this if it is possible for my husband and son to drive. If anyone knows is there a place to drive right by factory/museum area? We will overnight in Bologna, luggage check and then bus to factory and back to Bologna before heading to Venice.

I'm not seeing any mention at all on the website of the museum/factory offering a casual visitor's driving experience, and no mention in visitor reviews (on Trip Advisor). In fact, you're not allowed to even touch the cars in the museum display.

My husband has found some information. Across the street is the Bullbar, restaurant and they offer drives. Still need to find out ages and costs.

Update. We got an email back from Bullbar.biz. 19 minimum age and you are still responsible for 15,000 euro if you cause an accident. I guess 200 euro for 20 minutes does not include full coverage. Yikes.

My research shows that Ferrari does not go into (production) factory, they take a bus onto premises and you see the track and maybe a car coming out of a building and completed cars. You do not get out of the bus, you do not see the cars in production.
