Has anyone visited the Lamborghini museum near Modena? We are on the 10 day RS tour through the area but doesn't look like we will have time to fit it in but wondering if anyone has taken the factory tour. I'd love to surprise my husband with a side trip there before we meet our group in Venice.

what dates will you be in venice? possible take the train to bologna and find a tour to museum, check dates and times. you may check viator if tour from venice, may be pricey but what's it mean to you and him to have a happy husband haha
taking a bus will take longer, here's something about it: italylogue.com the museum is not in bologna but 30-45 minutes away.
renting a car for the day from venice, near train station, if so get an IDP (international driving permit) from AAA. that's the easiest and less frustrating.

i kept this info since my friend wants to go here, check if this helps you out. you can buy train ticket same day you go, same price. please let me know if you succeeded.

The factory tour is wonderful. You can take a bus from Bologna or rent a car. My husband loved the tour. It is not difficult to reach. It remains a highlight of our many trips to Italy for my husband.

what time does your flight land in milan? if this is a real must see, take an early train on the 11th from milan to either modena or bologna, then a taxi to museum, do your tour and see what you need to, then take train to venice to checkin and you still have evening and next day to walk around venice to enjoy. it's like "killing two birds with one stone". or rent a car for day, get directions to museum, drive back to venice and return car at train station.. check if you need to book a tour to museum and may have a test drive hi-light for your husband. good luck
