We arrive Ravenna by ship on Monday Oct 2. Flying home from Milan on Saturday Oct 7. Would like to train to Bardolino/Garda on 10/2 for the last day of the Rose Festival and spend the night. Next, I want to return to Lake Como (hopefully Varenna if landslide permits). So, keep those 2 destinations only, or also add Lake Maggiore, where I have not been? Thinking Stresa?

Stresa is lovely and closer to MXP than Milan center
Easy to get to airport-direct airport bus
I don’t think Bardolino is served by train
Maybe train to Verona then bus

As ChristineH says, there is no train to Bardolino. You could take the train to Peschiera del Garda (via Verona) and a ferry from there. Or maybe someone can suggest a bus.

You only have 5 nights and you’ll need to be in Milan or Stresa night before departure
I’d pick 2 locations at most
