Has anyone ever taken a bus from Perugia to Lake Trasimeno? My daughter and I are traveling in July for the Umbria Jazz Festival (!), and we thought a day at the lake would be nice. Was bus transportation fairly easy?
Also, which village would you recommend to spend most of our time, eat a nice lunch, etc.?
And finally, has anyone taken a boat ride on the lake? Any advice on how to do that, different companies available, etc?
