How many days do you recommend in lake maggiore to enjoy with no rush

I stayed in Stresa for 2 nights. Another night might have been nice since we caught an early train when we left.

Mireya, The answer will depend on what you want to do and see in that area. If you're planning to only tour Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and perhaps a short trip to Mt. Mottarone, then two or three days should be adequate. However, if you'd like to perhaps take a day trip to Locarno (CH) on the scenic Cento Valli Railway (return to Stresa by boat) or explore other towns along the lake, then three or four days would be better.
