Hello have heard that because the glaciers are disappearing in the Alps the lake levels are way down in the Lake districts including Lake Garda. I'm wondering for this sept 2023 how bad is it going to be , thinking that it will effect the ferry piers and therefore stop some of the lake transportation
thank you

The recent heavy rains a week or so ago improved the situation, although the level is still below average for the period.
Wonder if there is any updates to this question on Lake Garda water levels
It's been raining for weeks. Half of Emilia-Romagna's southern provinces were flooded. In two weeks the water level of the Lake went from 91 to 106 cm.

The average level between 1950 and 2015, the green line in the chart, is around 105 cm. The blu line is the level in 2023. What the level will be in September depends on how much rain will fall in August, for now the situation is almost back to normal.
We were in Desenzano a few weeks ago - the water level looked good! boats were running and it was beautiful!
