Has anyone visited Lake Garda in the month of November? I'm trying to find out if the ferry going from Desenzano to Riva will be running during that time. Their website makes it look like the North/South ferry stops running Nov. 1st, but the East/West one continues service through the winter. Can anyone confirm this for me? Also, if we won't be able to take a ferry from Desenzano to Riva, what would be your suggestion as to how to visit a few lake front towns without a car? We'll be staying in Verona, by the way.
