Hello all,
My husband and I are looking to fly into Milan and out of Florence (or Rome). My rough itinerary would take us either to Lake Garda first, then the Dolomites (or visa versa if that seems more reasonable) then down to Tuscany with potential stops along the way, with our final destination being Florence. Our goal is to travel mostly by train if possible to each area though we're not totally against renting a car if necessary. We'd like to stay a few days or so in each of these four areas. The question I had was timing and recommendations of locations within these areas of places to stay and/or must see attractions. We are also open to hidden gems that other tourist might no commonly visit. Any thoughts, advice or itinerary recommendations?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
