lake garda

two years ago i did the wilhelm tell express ... train and boat combo that ends up in lucerne. is there a similar scenic express for lake garda that starts from the south and goes north with train hookups on both ends? my eventual destination is vienna via train from northernmost lake garda.

If you look at a map, you can see that the railway (Milan-Verona-Venice line) passes only through the southernmost towns (Desenzano and Peschiera, the largest towns along the lake). To go to the north lake, the only option is by car, bus or ferries. From the northern towns of Riva or Torbole, you could connect (via bus) with the railway that goes from Verona to the Brenner pass (Verona - Brenner - Innsbruck - Munich) at the Rovereto station, just across the hill.
