Lake Garda B & B's, Inns, & Agriturismos

Seeking lodging recommendations for a mid September visit to Lake Garda.

Having read past Travel Forum posts, the towns of Malcesine, Limone, Gargnano, Riva, & Bardolino are often mentioned as lovely towns in which to base a visit to Lake Garda.

We are fans of B & B's, Inns, & Agriturismos, due to their relaxed atmosphere, which facilitates meeting the proprietors & fellow guests.

Would appreciate receiving your recommendations on such establishments, either in or near the towns referenced, or in other areas of Lake Garda.

Thank you in advance.

I stayed at the Villa Lisa in Malcesine (https://www.villalisa.info/en/1/3320/hotel.htm) a few years ago and loved it, but I was younger and on a budget so it might not be my pick if I were returning (though my 60 year old mother and travel buddy on that trip - more used to four star hotels - loved it too). The only negative was that the room furnishing were quite basic. Everything else was wonderful - the owner, Fabrizio, was so helpful before and during the trip, everything was extraordinarily clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and the views were spectacular. It was about a 10 minute walk from the center of the village so it was quieter at night and you could sit on the huge, sunny terrace in the afternoons and look out at the castle with the lake behind it. I think it's absolutely worth being up off the lake for the views you get and there are lots of hotels/guest houses to choose from up there. Many of them also have outdoor swimming pools, which might still be useable in mid-September.
