Lake Como travel ideas with kids

We are considering going to Lake Como for two days in July 2008. We are travelling with 2 kids (14 and 10) Any recommendations? We all enjoy swimming and walking/modest hiking and of course the scenery. I will have a car. Thanks

While Como is a beautiful place and Varenna exceptional kids would likely prefer GardaLand an amusement park on Lake Garda's eastern shore. This is about an hour by train from Milan in the direction of Venice.
