My husband and I will be in Bellagio for four nights and at the end of that stay, would like to travel to St. Moritz, spend the night and then return to Milan. Is this feasible?
If you cross the lake by ferry to Varenna (about 20 minutes), you can take a train north to Tirano (1.5 hours) and connect there to St. Moritz (2.5 hours). Return to Milan via a different route takes 6 hours. See schedules for MIlan-Varenna or Varenna-Tirano at www.trenitalia.com. For other routes, How to Look Up Train Schedules Online gives you the preferred DB train schedule link and tips for using it.
