Hi there. First time trip to Lake Como for 3 nights with my wife in mid-August.
We currently have an airbnb in Lezzeno and Menaggio and are trying to decide which is a better base for our trip. What do you suggest?
We would like to explore some of the gardens on Lake Como, take a boat out one of the days, enjoy great views, walk around cobblestone/beautiful streets, maybe do an easy hike, and eat great food. Ideally minimize tourist traps.
I also am unsure how easy it is getting around once the ferries stop for the day (not sure if we’ll want to take the car to restaurants at night, etc.).
Any thoughts are greatly appreciation and also if you have authentic restaurant recs.
