We have to decide today whether to embark upon a trip tomorrow that starts at Lake Como - staying at Hotel Imperiale. But, the flooding worries us and it’s very hard to find any news. Does anyone have any helpful information? Thank you.

Do you use TripAdvisor? I use it primarily for the destination specific forums, as there are often locals that read and reply there. Chances of catching someone here that is on the spot may be slim.
