Lake Como, Dolomites, and Tuscany -- too much for 7 days?

I'll be traveling to Italy at the end of July/Beginning Aug for about 7 days and wanted to see Lake Como, the Dolomites and Tuscany. Is that too much to try to see in one week? If so, which to eliminate from the itinerary? I've been to Florence but not the countryside of Tuscany and have never seen the Dolomites or Lake Como area.

Thanks!

Yes, that is too many locations for seven days. You will spend a lot of time traveling by car or public transportation. Not fun.
Tuscany is a large area too. Choose an area of Tuscany and use it as a base to see more of this province.
Spend all seven days in Tuscany or combine the Dolomites and maybe Lake Como but they are not very near each other. Lots of driving time. The Dolomites pair well with Lake Garda. If you decide on the Dolomites, Ortisei is a wonderful town. Look at Hotel Grones

Way too much for 7 days. Pic one spot and enjoy it to the fullest. If u decide on tuscany fly in to Rome or Florence. A traveler can spend a day in just traveling from a to b . The dolomites are breathtaking , reserve your lodging soon as it is popular in summer for sure.

“The Dolomites,” and “Tuscany” are both huge and each is worth 7 days or more. Pick one and do it well.

Even Lake Como and the Dolomites are probably too much for 7 days, mainly because it will take most of a day to get between them. However, Lake Garda is very close to the Dolomites and could be combined easily. Probably two bases - one northern Lake Garda (I really like Malcesine, Riva del Garda would work as well) and the other in the Dolomites. I based in Bolzano to see the Dolomites but a lot of people prefer a smaller town. But the point is these areas are quite close to each other and Lake Garda, especially the northern end, is just as lovely as Lake Como.

Thank you all! I think you've helped me decide on Lake Garda and Dolomites. Do you think Venice airport would be best to fly into? Also, what are your favorite lodgings (hotel, BnB, airBnB) in those areas? I appreciate your advice!!

I would also look at Milan as well. I have not been to VCE, but found MXP to be a 'no problem' experience.

Might be better to fly into Milan - I think most flights to Venice need to connect thru Rome and the Venice airport / rental car situation may get dicey

Favorite lodgings:
Lake Garda:
SW side- lovely Salò, lakefront Hotel Belvedere
NW side- Malcesine, Hotel Il Castello which has a sandy beach.
Dolomites- Ortisei- Hotel Grones, beautiful family run hotel, great dining room too.
We drove to Dolomites up west side staying in Saló, recommended by Italian friend. We were driving from the Piemonte.
We left via the east side of Lake Garda coming from the Dolomites en route to Bologna..
